I haven’t been quite happy with my firefox lately -it crashes more than Richard Hammond and is often as slow as Captain Slow himself-, so much so that I wouldn’t mind switching to Chrome for good, if it weren’t for all those addons I have to come to love: think Xmarks (used to be Foxmarks), Downloadhelper and the likes. Recently I have added two that may prove indispensable as well: Juice & Webmynd, both add-ons that promise enhanced search features.

Zo heel bijzonder is dit niet, en functioneel lijkt het me ook niet meteen, maar het kan misschien je Firefox wat opfleuren: Chromatabs Plus geeft je tabbladen in allerlei kleurtjes weer. De standaardinstellingen leveren redelijk pastelachtige tinten op, maar als het een beetje feller mag, dan kun je dat zonder meer aanpassen. Bij sites met een favicon wordt de kleur gebaseerd op de tinten van de favicon. De actieve tab wordt altijd wat intenser weergegeven, zodat die meer opvalt tussen de rest. Deze versie is overigens aangepast voor Firefox 3.
